Fuel problem

Having a major problem with getting fuel into the fuel rail. Fuel pump work fine, and hoses are connected with no leaks. Any clues as to what else I should check. I check the fuel going into the fuel filter and there was fuel there, but when I check the fuel rail crossover pipe there isn't any fuel flowing into the pipe. Its an VE30de if that helps.

Hmm. You could try to disconnect the fuel line that goes into the filter and see if it sprays fuel when turning the ign to on. Careful when you do this!

Just because there is fuel in the filter might not mean there's fuel flowing. You could also try an inline fuel pressure guage. That actually might be a better idea.

If you think it's a clogged rail, I have an extra empty fuel rail for sale. And another rail that has the injectors installed.

have you checked to see if fuel comes OUT of the filter?

Fuel is spraying out of the hose when turning the ign on. going to try the inline fuel pressure gauge tomorrow. Any way to test the fuel pressure regulator?

From the back to front? Or front to rear? I "think" the fuel flows into the rear rail, crosses over to the front and then back to the tank. Take the plugs out. Are both front and rear banks of plugs dry?

Well you're in luck. You might be able to pull the front rail w/o removing the intake manifold. But I'd check the x-over tube 1st.

I do have a spare injector rail (bare with no injectors if you need it)
