lsd of the ve tranny

Ok well on my last ve tranny im not sure if the lsd worked or not. I had one tire fire bad! But on the new ve tranny that I got it feels alittle differant when lanching in 1st it seems like some of the power being cut or maybe clutch slipage (but i dont think the clutch is slipping stage 3 spec clutch) and I seem to light bot tires up now to each side. Is this normal or is my cluch slipping? It dont seem to have any other problem sliping in any gear even if I speed shift, but second gear the tires just light up really bad!

if both tires fire, then the LSD is working correctly

thats what mine use to do on the old tranny. But it was my drivers tire that would be the only one spinning!

if you have a VLSD trans both are supposed to spin. If one isnt then you have a problem somewhere. Could be you have the wrong axles, could be the unit is bad.

Get a FSM and start diagnosing.

well i did get them from autozone, but they do fit well and do not leak.... so i htink i have the right axles.... im either gonna sell the car soon anyways and get a stick, or just transplant a stick into this one, so im not too worried about it.... hopefully i can find a black VE5 that is pretty decent fully loaded so i can put the black on black in it.. including the headliner
