Y-Pipe Repair?

Hey guys, I got one for ya that I haven't ever seen mentioned. While pulling apart my car today I noticed that there is a huge gouge from a rock or something in my fairly new WSP y-pipe. It is still sealed, but I'm sure it is effecting flow. Since I will have it off is there a good way to fix this? If necessary I guess I can get the area cut out and a new one welded in, but I'd prefer just bumping it out.

Sorry, and I just came in from working on it, too...I have a buddy who does body work...He's gonna weld some puller studs to it and try to pull it out. His price...A case of beer.
