I have a 1990 Maxima with the keyless entry on the doors. Can someone please tell me how to change the code.

ok, what you have to do is look up under your dash on the passenger side under the glove box. all the way over (on the side your door is on) is a gold box. it's kinda hard to see and you'll have to look for a minute to find it. there is a sticker on the gold box that has a number on it. write that number down and go to the number pad on your door. hit the button that says "st" on it. type in the number that you found under the glove box. you should then hear a beeping sound. while it is making that sound, type in what you want your code to be. wait for the beeping to stop and then hit "st" again and try your code. it should work. oh yeah, your code needs to be 5 numbers long w/ out repeating the same number 3 times in a row.
