Gauge pod for maxima? The side pillar kind. What fits?

I just bought a ran across a buddy of mine who was broke and desperate for money so i bought his gauges from him to help him out
i got a water coolant temp gauge
oil pressure gauge
and fuel pressure gauge
im lookin for a tri gauge pod or a dual gauge pod for the door pillar.
is there one out of a certain car that will fit in the maxima? also whats the best way to wire up the collant tem gauge to be very acurate, my gauge clusters temp gauge jumps up and down when it feel like it.

thanks in advance

why try to "rig" something up when someone already makes one that fits perfectly to the car?

is it the $ issue? didn't you say you dumped all this cash into your car already?

also...side note...why would someone want to run smaller rims?

he likes 15s... Says 16 is the largest that will fit without rubbing if you are lowered.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!

I guess the 1 set of 17x8 I ran + the 3 sets of 18s I had all were wrong! None of the rubbed.

If you had searched (free search or offical .org search) the answer would have been there for you. Why dont you put as much effort finding info as making pointless comments.

he already has clear corners and i don't think he is runnin' his G35 stocks. all he told u to do is just search, no need to get upset about it and make comments like that. we r all here to help each other out and give honest opinions. i don't c how the hell 17's or 18's will rub on ur car if most us run 17's and 18's and some 19's with no problems whatsoever.

i had 17inch maxima wheels and i scrubbed like a sob when turning real sharp and also when im goin fast over bumpy roads or if i hit a good dip in the road.
big rims are ugly as hell if you ask me.
its ghetto.
15's are the best, light weight, easy to keep under controll, and they feel better.
Ive had 16's on the maxima as well, but had soem camber issues and tires were more expensive then 15's.

im about to get some 15inch 95 maxima se blade wheels today to get rid of my dookie wheels i have now.

thanks for your a-hole opinions about your ghetto rims.

What were you lowered with? How far, what setup?

Plus, the circumference of a larger wheel would effectively speed you up because you're travelling a greater distance over the same number of wheel turns. But if you get large rims and compensate with really low profile tires so the total wheel/tire diameter is the same, you're just increasing the weight subject to inertia and it will slow the amount of time to create the same arc velocity on the outside of the wheel, but only very marginally. I could bust out the math, but it's still the AM (and after St. Pattys day)

Whatever, to each his own, right? What happened to that?

When you drive a big *** car, bigger wheels balance out the look. And 15 are TERRIBLE with corner because of the huge sidewall.

WILL SOMEONE PLEASE BAN backNblackj30

Yur just making yourself out to be a cheap sob that doesn't know ****e about proper cambering. The only ppl that i know the run on 15 and are proud are the weekend rice warriors.

Congrads on your job at a junkyard.

You opinion is fine...I am glad you like 15s BUT when you try to add fact in with the opinion its wrong and thats where I come in to straghten you out.

If you had put the RIGHT OFFSET 17S ON YOUR CAR IT WOULD NOT HAVE RUBBED.

17 or 18s arent big...they arent 20s.

MY 18S WERE LIGHTER THAN YOUR 15S (BOTH WITH AND WITHOUT TIRES) SO HOW IN THE WORLD CAN THAT STATEMENT BE 100% TRUE ALL THE TIME?

Now maybe you will read it since its in caps...I have posted it about a million times but you seem to ignore it and state you opinion instead of fact.

the rubbed the top of the fender, as in the tallness of the rims!
inside was no problem the offset was no problem!

it was the wheel
im lowerd 1.75inches on arospeed springs, and i have kyb gr2 struts.
the tire size was 235-50-17's
and the wheels rubbed the fender and dug into the tire on the back especially when i hit bumps. and i had no wheel gap what so ever, the wheels were tucked up in my fender.
i have pics/

after riding around for a day or so they were really tucked in the rear. that was 4 seconds after putting the rims on and letting the jack down

tire size on my 15's is 195-60-15's Falken Ziex ze512 i do belive.

Man how many times do I have to say it. I have said it so many times in reply to you I just forgot to add it to that one. You also have to have the right size tire but I figured you would know that. You cant put a mack tire under you car without it rubbing can you? I dont know how much bigger a 235/45 is from a 235/45 or 225/45 but know that the two I just typed will give you the correct diameter to fit if you have the right offset.

Listen because this is the last time I am saying this. When you go with a bigger wheel you go with a smaller tire so the outside diameter is equal to the factory tire size. I dont understand why that is escaping your grasp...its not hard to understand.

You had one experience with putting 17s one (with the wrong tire I might add) yet I have put on 17s and 18s and neither rubbed. Oh I guess I am wrong adn my 2 personal experiences are no proof while your one UNEDUCATED trial is the only correct way to do it. And since your way didnt work then no ones way will.

Plus aerosprings are junk an are certainly not lower than my Intrax were so dont go saying you are super low. Matter of fact with the picture you posted I know for sure my car was lower and I still had no rubbing.

All I am saying is that if you dont like the look of 17 and 18s thats fine I dont care because thats your opinion and you are entitled to it but saying they will not fit without rubbing because of your one (I will say it again) uneducated try is just plain wrong.

right.
it was the right offset.
my wheel hit the top of my fender. not my strut or anything
im not arguing anymore, you are ignorrant, and big wheels suck. too much weight, i felt like i was driving a ghetto car when i put those wheels on
the car came factory with 15's im sure if 17's were made to fit good they woud have came with them optional or something.

UGGGHHHH I am ignorant because I have succesfully fit 17s and 18s without rubbing man you are an *** hole...crap I got personal (mods cut me a break this time please).

Listen offset is more than hitting your strut. The right offset would bring the wheel in a little more and it wouldnt rub on the fender.

Why cant you admit you are wrong that 17s and 18s will fit with the right offset and tire combo instead of throwing your one experience with a wrong offset too big a tire combo out there.

You know what I have been one of the most helpful people to you and have answered your questions more than anyone. I am finished with anyone that will not admit when they are wrong.

I will not help you even if what you are about to do will blow your motor up. Good luck finding anyone as knowledgable as me to answer you. I am not saying I am the most knowledgable on here but Jeff, Matt, MrGone and several of the others are already ignoring you. I start now.

I will state this one more time for good measure though.

MY 18S WERE LIGHTER THAN YOUR 15S WITH AND WITHOUT TIRES.

Proof is in the pudding, enough time has been wasted on this thread.

Thank you Michael for the info though, I'm sure someone will find it useful in the future.
