I don’t log onto this forum much, and I see the search function is still fubar so here are a few things I need to fix and any help or walk-through’s would be great. I have briefly looked through my Haynes manual for the thermostat but I left it at my dorm so I was not able to look at changing the bearing or motor mounts.

Front left wheel bearing.
Thermostat for coolant stuck open
Seatbelt reminder (randomly coming on)
Motor mounts

A few places quoted me at $280-$320 for the wheel bearing. I have never replaced a wheel bearing before so any pointers would be great. Front left wheel bearing.

The thermostat seams like it will be easy from what my Haynes manual says.

Also the motor mounts don’t look like they will be to big of a problem as I looked under the car and the front two are easy to get to but I have not looked at the rear mounts yet (are they hard to get to and or change)?

Would I have any problems if I cut the wire going to the seatbelt reminder light? Also where is the wire for the audio part of the seatbelt reminder that makes the clicking sounds.

This all started happening this past month and now I am going out of town and wont have time to work on it for another few weeks so I am really just looking for a place to order parts online, any links would be greatly appreciated.

PS: Pistons are for *****’s

Just un-clip the seatbelt sensor harness under each seat. If you have power leather, only pull the seat belt harness. No cutting required...

Motor mounts
1. New hub from the Junkyard should do the trick.
2. Buy a new one, 30 minutes max to change out the thermo
3. Unplug the connector under each seat.
4. I believe auto zone rents cherry pickers, not for sure though, get the motor mounts from autozone (dunno if internetautomart sells them) and then rent a cherry picker from them. This is not difficult by any means..just about any motor mount FAQ will work..
