Weird tranny problem

Hey guys, I'm new to the .org and fairly new to my Max, but just wanted to introduce myself and thank you in advance for all of your help. So here's the deal, a couple of days ago I noticed that my automatic would not shift into 4th (usually @ 45mph) until it was fully warmed up. After it was warm everything seems to work fine, although it does feel considerably more sluggish than normal. I thought that maybe it was something electrical, so I did a TCU test and everything came back normal. But I didn't clean any of the connectors or harness, so maybe my results were skewed. Also, Jaybird180 and internetautomart suggested that I do a tranny flush and replace the tranny filter. I got the car in October and I am pretty certain that the ATF is fine, but I will look into the trans filter. This car is strong, never driven hard, and only 105,000 miles, so I'm hoping it is something mundane but you never know with transmissions. Any more ideas would be greatly appreciated and thanks again.

My tranny would do that in cold weather ever since I can remember (I got 40,000mi out of it)...until it blew up last weekend. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

It's been fairly mild here in Jersey. Throughout the winter the car ran like a champ, and it's only gotten warmer since.

when your tranny dont work right in the cold, it is called morning ickness..... which means your tranny is loosing its strength.... which means tranny failure in the future.. it may not be in the near furute, but is definately is in the future

The trans and ecu purposely keep the trans from shifting into 4th(unless you go over a certain speed and engine will be revving too high) when the engine is not fully warmed up. This helps engine and trans warm up quicker.

Thanks for your input so far. I've had some other ideas as well. A friend of mine suggested that it may be a knock sensor issue. Any way I may be able to check this? Also, I had found some information about OD solenoids going bad and it not allowing the tranny to shift into 4th until warm. You guys have any issues with this? Thanks again.
