I'm having problems with my auto tranny. Underneat the intake tubing from the throttle body there is a circular piece that goes into the transmission not sure what its called or what its for? (I'll try and get a pic) When pressure builds up that piece keeps popping out just enough so that the metal ring that seals it lets all my fluid go out. I checked with transmission specialist and they said because its the actual transmission thats corroded, it no longer holds the ring tightly enough. So my options are changing the transmission or making a bracket that would hold that piece on tight. So far I've had 2 brackets made and both of them bent and eventually let all my fluid go out. I'm gonna try and have an other bracket made that will hopefully keep that piece in its place. If that doesn't work my max will be going to the junk yard Has anyone else had a problem like this before?
