Hi,people i took off the bk seat but i cant see any rust on the panels, and i cant see the filler pipe, am idoing something wrong? ihave a 94 se, and the screw that holds the rear passenger side safety belt looks new. another guestion does anybody knows how long do the motor n tranny mounts last under normal conditions meaning i dont drive fast except for once in a while somebdy looks at me wrong on a traffic light and i show him how fast is my car,i dust him a little. well thats all i need any come bk i can get, by the way i just change the mountsabt a month ago.

Pull the rear drivers side wheel, take out the four snap fittings that hold on the plastic cover over the filler pipe (push in centers, then pull out) and knock out or clean out all of the mud caked in there. When it's clean you can then check out the rust situation up, inside the wheel well around where the filler starts. I did this and didn't find any rust. Then I thoroughly cleaned it and sprayed Zbart all around there.

Is the recall only for the filler pipe? I have nasty rust holes behind my back seat. You can pull the seat forward a bit and poke your finger through rust.
