rust

Pull the rear drivers side wheel, take out the four snap fittings that hold on the plastic cover over the filler pipe (push in centers, then pull out) and knock out or clean out all of the mud caked in there. When it's clean you can then check out the rust situation up, inside the wheel well around where the filler starts. I did this and didn't find any rust. Then I thoroughly cleaned it and sprayed Zbart all around there.

Is the recall only for the filler pipe? I have nasty rust holes behind my back seat. You can pull the seat forward a bit and poke your finger through rust.
