Pretty much, unless you have internal engine rebuilding experience...

You could find a good used engine to swap in....

don't assume your engine is thrashed just because you have a couple wet spark plugs. first, use a dummy plug, see if you are getting a spark to those cylinders. if you are, then do a compression check. if you aren't, find out why. if the compression check fails, you know for a fact that the engine is toast. at least do a compression check on those cylinders before trashing it.

well it seems to be running better (for now) since cleaning the plugs and a few of the electrical and lubing connections......actually its running much better i actually have some power back....but now it is shifting really hard now that it has power again it is just slams into the gear actaully making my nech jerk ....i didnt do anything to the tranny but check the fluid...anyone know what could be causing this

i just did the tranny self dianostic test ...and the winner is ..."10th flicker is longer: line pressure solenoid valve circuit" according to a post by craig b......any on know what this is?...lol....could it be causing my shifiting problems?
...i also did the ecu test when clean the plugs and connections ...it did not have a "1205 error" for the line pressure solenoid valve ciruit? any ideas why?
