can i lower my car by just getting new springs?

i want to drop my car and i just want to know if i could just put on new springs or do i have to get both springs and struts. How much would my ride suck if i just changed the springs?....less then a year ago i put in new kyb struts just to let you guys know.

You could just install new springs in order to lower your car. The shocks that you installed are just fine.

As for the ride, it depends on the person and what they consider bad. I love feeling the road and being able to corner really hard but of course you will have to sacrifice some comfort.

If you got struts a year ago, then you should be okay. If you were going to change springs with stock struts, then I would advise against that.
