Last week I was driving in a rain storm doing 55mph on a 55 road. The road is known to have poor drainage, so I kept that in mind as I travelled in the dark. Soon, I felt the tail end slip out from under me as I hydroplaned. The cruise control automatically disengaged and the dash light began to flash. Then I did what I always do when I don't feel confortable in the rain, turn the O/D off.
I just though this was neat and wanted to know if anyone else knew about it.

A way you can engage this feature is to do the tray trick. Slip 2 plastic fast food trays under the rear wheels, lock the parking brake and drive. If you set it this should happen. Not to mention it makes for good donuts/drifts/etc..

It would have been better but the trays already had holes burnt in them(you'd be amazed how fast a 2k Avalon can spin a donut when it gets going). I'll get more later. I'll also try to get some drifts if someone lets me drive their car..
