how to check the sensors...

guys, I need your help to locate and check the sensors on my Max. I need to figure out what part(s) is(are) wrong and then purchase any replacements.
I'll appreciate any help. Thanks all.

symptoms - engine stalls, sometimes with an explosion in the tail pipe. I restart it with in 2-3 seconds. looks like the ignition shuts off. I had somewhat similar problem with another car and the fault was in the hi temp sensor.

A bad k/s will not cause the problems you explained...

It's possible the coolant temp sensor could cause this issue..It's cheap[about$20] so you might want just to replace it..

Other things to look at also:
1.Coil packs
2.Mass air flow sensor
3.Injectors

injectors - 4 new: 3 in the back, 1 - in front
coil packs - they are expensive, so - they will be the last (reasonably) things to replace. imo, the lack of ignition may not be caused by 1 or 2 bad coil packs; and all of they can't go bad in the same time.
mass air flow sensor - I don't know how to check it. I only measured a resistance between the terminals, but have no idea if those reading mean bad or good sensor.
the coolant sensor - this coulbe the lead - cause it measures the hi temperature (it's contacts coulbe loose or it coulbe just broken).
I will replace it and see how the engine works after that.
Thank you.

Another thing for the classifieds usually very cheap in there...

injectors are new. if those two will go bad, they are exposed and easy to replace.
coil packs -if I buy them used, I don't know if they will fail in 1 day or 1 year. better to get the new ones. besides, I checked all coil packs and they have relatively the same readings. and they all work (when idling.)

The coils packs tend to fail under load...but will work fine at idle...

Yes new ones would definantly be better..I was just presenting other options since you metioned the price of them..
