Rim/Tire Sizes

I'm about to purchase new rims/tires for my 93 max. With Eibach springs, what is the largest 18X8" rim w/tire combo that I can fit without spacers?? I've heard 225/45/18, 245/45/18....etc. So whats the right answer, I searched the forums, but couldn't really find much.

real g35 rims are 18x8 with +30 offset. i ran them with a 235/40/18 tire because that was the closest to stock.....

Along the same topic, does anyone know if you can run 235s on 7.5 inch wide rims, or do you need 8 minimum?

i have the 18 x 8 g35 rims with the eibachs. im running a 235/40/18's they are perfect without any rubbing even when i turn the wheel lock to lock. also i get alot if complements because the rears look like they tuck perfectly. a 245 might rub but check in the wheel and tire section. i believe they said 225/40/18 for 2" drop and 235/40/18 for a 1" drop will not rub.

Upon looking i found out your correct, so its +30 offset, and the 225/40/18 just came with the rims so im running them till they are bare =). When i replace the tires i will get a 235.

Yeah i got 225/40 ZR18 on stock suspension n it is fine. Only thung is, the ride become a little rougher, but thats just mine as i have stock sustension. Maybe with aftermarket suspension your ride might remain smooth..

Im hopeing thats the case, but its running 235 in the back and 225 upfront so i think i might just buy 2 new tires to even out the rough ride =)
