IIRC you have an auto 4th gen? Possible cause of snail syndrome.

If you did the 3.5L swap into the 4th gen, you would have liked it a lot more.

Honestly, I like the look of 3rd gens better. I just hate VTCs.

You're the one driving the car, though.

Comparing an auto, stock, cali-spec 4th gen to a (most likely) modded 5-speed VE FTMFL...

the 4th gen has warpspeed y pipe, injen intake and a ton less miles. 78k to be exact. the VE has a 5 speed warpspeed y pipe, short shifter, CAI, ported and polished heads, ported throttlebody and an underdrive pulley.

How much did you sell it for? I am thinking of selling mine and for the right price you will be getting a nice lowered aztec red 5-spd with custom body kit and no ticks.

Warp Speed Y-pipe, plus a intake. Maybe a new muffler, then save the rest of your money for any repairs that come along.

Remiinds of the days when I only had one car payment, and it was under $300. Now though since i bought my new truck... I pay almost a $1000.

$137/mo. less than a year away from being paid off. Funny, I could have had the thing paid off awhile ago if I hadn't modded it...but what's the fun in that?

Original price = $4000
Approximate cost of mods thus far (and still rising!) = $3000 (most in the last year)

Hmm... we're about even... I bought my Max at $3500, and dumped a little over $3500 into it... and have another $4000+ to go.

You know, in one small way it's actually better that you went for the full term. Some banks today look for people who buy cars, then pay them off quickly, or trade them off quickly. They're less willing to give a highly positive feedback on your credit.

That's why buying a car, and paying it off automatically doesn't help your credit much, same thing with credit cards. They look for those who make continual payments.
