it'll cost around $110 for the install, then you have to get a 4 wheel alignment, which will cost around $80???

bucktown....

did you get an alignment since putting on your springs? did it fix the camber enough to not need a camber kit? i'm getting the alignment in the next week, and dont wanna spend money on a camber kit unless i'll really need it.

the guy who did my alignment said i wouldn't need a camber kit. he said that he would "notch" the wheels. i don't know that this means, but the term sounds familiar. i think i remember it from gran turismo or something. but so far there hasn't been any irregular tire wear.

oh ok, i'm guessing he just did that on the front wheels? and did he charge extra to "notch" them? i've heard that term before too. how much all together? haha, sorry for all the questions

i can't remember if he did both front and rear wheels or not. i got hooked up and he installed my springs, struts, and alignment for $200. he was originally going to do it all for $150, but he said it was a ***** to get the rear strut cartidges in (oil spilled everywhere) and it took almost an entire day for him to do, so he charged me extra for all the work.

They notch the upper strut BOLT hole. That way it will rotate outward to eleviate all that negative camber. Then they add a few little brackets to keep it on place and to adjust it.
Total kit is about $45.00 plus labor.
