I would assume u r talking about the pressure line since return line is on with hose clamps...I had mine off but the rear motor mount and cross member was removed so it was easy. You may have to get at it from the top..try removing the pcv hose from rear valve cover and see if u can get your arm down there if not have u jacked the car up and put it on stands and tried from the bottom?..this is on very tight and there is a slot in the mount u have to put a small screw driver in to hold it while you turn the nut..good luck

some wrong with power steering pump?

my power steering does not work properly sometimes, especially when the car is slowly, it is very hard to turn the steering wheel just like without power steering. when the car running fast, the power steering seems no problem. Why? Is there something wrong with the power steering pump? Thanks for reply.

Get at the bottom bolt with a 24mm wrench. It is do-able, because I got it out without any problems.

Check and see if the belt on the power steering pump is good and tight and that the belt itself is in good condition, not glazed or oil soaked. Check the oil level in the reservoir, use Dexron type automatic transmission fluid to fill it.

When you say "when the car running fast, the power steering seems no problem" do you mean driving fast or are you stopped and revving the engine? When the car is moving, it takes less effort to turn the wheels.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it is exactly what i mean. By any chance do you have a pic or guide of the power steering pump so that I can have an idea how it looks like?
