Master Cylinder

Just had the thing replaced, now I am noticing a small drip from beneath where the booster and the cylinder meet. Is there a gasket in between the two? I bled the entire system thinking that will cure my problem, but the leak is still there. Any suggestions. tks

There might be a gasket but there shouldn't be anything leaking from it either. I hope the booster isn't getting brake fluid in there. I think I have a 5-sp VE booster still for sale though.

No gasket, that is what worries me. I thought it would be a simple fix but looks like it is turning out to be complicated.

there is no gasket between the booster and master cylinder on any car I've ever seen.
if there is fluid between the master and the booster, then 2 possibilities exist:
1. the master is bad
2. the connection from either the reservoir or lines to the master cylinder is bad.

if you bought a rebuilt master w/o the reservoir then there's a good chance it's the reservoir seals.
have fun!
