bracket

I recently had my engine swapped with a JDM VE30DE, unfortunately the JDM engine came from an auto, and the mechanic who did the swap threw out the bracket for my manual transmission and used the one for the auto transmission. The bracket mounts on the passenger side and holds the axel in place. Does anyone know where I can buy or find this part? According to nissan its very hard to find by itself because it only comes with a 2800 dollar subframe otherwise. whatever that means :P

What bracket are you talking about?
and if your mechanic threw it away doing the swap, he is responsible for getting a new one if it's needed.

it's the bracket that goes between the engine block and the axle carrier bearing.

OEM part # 39780-85E00 nissanparts.cc price $112.88

tell your mechanic he's responsible for it.

wait that part looks to be the same on the auto and manual...am I missing something? I dont remember swapping that when we did the 92 (although I may not be remembering it).

Looking on fast though it is the same part number for the auto and manual.

Bump

Has anybody confirmed Michael's thoughts?

I thought they were the same too, but I have the auto bracket on there as we speak and it seems to just barely (by a few mm) put the axle slightly cocked into the transmission and doesn't quite allow it to be pushed all the way in
