What would you do?

I just finished changing my clutch and returned from work yesterday to find a UPS delivery on my doorstep. Its Lightened Aluminum Flywheel from Unorthodox racing. Its the one with the ferritic nitrocarburized insert thingie and it MSRP's for $520 <http://www.unorthodoxracing.com/> . The thing is I backed out and left my credit card info off the last page of the order screen. Somehow, it got sent to me without charging my account. I plan on sending it back as soon as I get back in touch with UR. Weird luck huh? I just finished puting in a new master cylinder and resurfacing my flywheel. The max pulls like a champ and I can't wait to drive it again. Unfortunatly, in other non maxima related news, my broken finger healed up just in time for me to break my foot skateboarding. I get the cast off in a week or so then I can have my baby back. Good luck wrenching everyone,

Lata,

Fugi

I'd be sure you weren't actually charged for it, thats a hefty mistake on their part. Otherwise send 'er back.

yeah if they charged you then you need to keep it OR have them take the charges off and return it. They are lucky they sent it to you (an honest person) instead of someone that would keep it for free.

Call your credit card company asap, I bet you were charged for it, but if not, way to go with the honesty.

Hey guys,

I'm sorry I didn't reply to my own post for weeks but my computer was down. Anyways, I did send it back and no I wasn't charged. I had already called and informed them before the post. I just felt that ripping off a company that makes parts for our unmarketed cars would be like shooting myself in the foot. Well, I'll be seeing you all more often now.

Lata,

Fugi

good you did the right thing. now if somehow it were ups who would be getting the raw end of the deal i'd say you should have kept it. those suckers managed to lose a transmission i sold to another orger. i'm still trying to figure out how they could lose a 100lb 24x18x18" box..

Hard to say, I'd hang on to it for awhile and see if you do eventually get charged for it or if you get a phone call asking for it back or something. Otherwise put it in.
