Hey guys, first off, I live in so.cal so Im kinda surprised to see this. There are no rust spots on any of our other cars, even my 89 SE. Oh well, it seems pretty superficial, but I have no idea how do handle this. Should I just sand it off, then paint it?? What kinda sand paper/paint?
Its on the drivers side near the inner tie rod..Passenger side is rust free.

all my maximas had "rust" in that area itssurface really just hit it with some 320 and black paint.
