LSD Problem?

sigh, my friend just got a wreckless op for spinning his trucks tire 10ft in an Advance auto where we work. Cop pulled him over as we turned onto the side street. Moral of the story, apparently cops can enforce "traffic laws" on private property, even when the manager doesnt give a crap.

Take that ticket to court. private property is none of the cops' business unless the manager wanted to press charges ont he 'property damage' from the marks left on the ground. And that that point, it would be a civil case for destruction of property, not a criminal/traffic case for reckless driving.
but of course, he'd better be damn sure he wasn't doing anything illegal once he got anywhere near the roadway.

Bejay, I remember reading that somewhere about the Z32, Infiniti J30, 240SX, and etc.. I don't rememebr the numbers exactly, but they were somewhere in that ballpark for the Z32. I'm sure the Maxima is less than that, but it was a nice ballpark number to post.
I just poked through the FSM and didn't see anything listed for breakaway torque in the 3rd gen manual, but I'm sure it's around somewhere. (maybe Quaife has those numbers in their files?)
So no, no concrete numbers for the '01 VLSD.
What I can tell you is that the 3,4,5 gen manual trannies all use the same differential.. (same part #s from nissan for the entire diff assembly). so if you can find specs on one, they will be the same for all.
