Hey guys, I was looking in the search logs for anything relating to reprogramming the keyless entry on 3rd generation Maxima's but I don't see anything relating to the third generation.. does anyone know how to change your password on the keyless? Thanks in advance.

ok, get a flashlight and something to write with. get down in the floor of your car on the passenger side and look up underneath the glove box. on the side closest to the door you should see a gold looking box. you have to look carefully b/c it's kinda hard to find. on that gold box is a sticker with a number on it. write that number down. then go to the keyless entry pad on the door and hit the button that says "st". then type in the number that you found under the glove box. you should hear a loud continuous beep. while it is beeping, type in the code that you want to use. then wait for the beeping to stop and try your code.

btw, the code can not have a number repeat 3 times in a row.

good luck!
