TB sensor question.

TB sensor question.

The sensor that is located on the throttle body.
I have a 5-speed. Can I remove the sensor? NEED TO KNOW SOON>

took it out to port it.... and installed the shaft 180 off. I didn't notice ti'll i was ready to put the sensor back on.
