I don't see any benefits whatsoever from a aftermarket fpr unless your turboed...

A FPR restricts the flow of fuel back into the fuel tank which subsquently increases the overall pressure within the rail over the stock regulator. I think this mod is worthless on a stock engine. However, if you have upgraded your ignition system and advanced timing, it is a good upgrade. I did this as part of my mods on my stock VG and it helped increase power and fuel economy overall (with mods, went from 270 miles to 340 miles per tank of gas). Or, if (as mentioned) you have turboed, then it is a good upgrade. What are you going for/hope to gain? I'm not hearing how you need this.

I think my FPR is going bad. I just replaced the Fuel pump which improved my situation but I am still lacking pressure at the rail. Any reccomendation on which one to go with. I'm running a NOS 100 shot.

Thanks!
