torque steer

I know alot of FWD cars have torque steer but mine is pretty bad. My to front struts r bad so whenever i hit a bump i hear a loud klunk. If i were to replace the struts would it help ease my torque steer?

Might not be struts, might be strut mount, might be ball joint, might be sway bar end link might be conrol arm bushings. You should fix the noise before something breaks.

Oh, and why do I feel like this is another one of those, "my car has so much powah and is so bad *** that I can't handle it" threads from a VG owner?

ok, I just don't recall hearing clunking when I had bad struts on my 2 other Max's. The struts were seriously toast and it didn't make any noise.

The rest of it was a joke man... VG's are 160HP cars, the don't produce *that* much torque steer. Try driving one of the new Chevy 303HP V8 FWD cars then come back and whine about torque steer.

Hey guys, I don’t know too much about drivetrains but what if his differential is messed up and is only sending power to one wheel?

I say that because I have driven my VG for a long time and I would only notice torque steer when I shift hard into second...while going uphill.

Course its not turbo'ed either cough*ghayness*cough
