What do I need to do?

I have a 92 gxe that won't be driven much if any until next spring because my son is away at school. The car is parked outside. We have cold winters and snow. What should I do to keep the car in good shape. Do I add stabill to the gas? Never had an extra car before.
Thanks in advance.

The best thing you could do is make time to drive the car every so often. There is no storage procedure that can beat an occasional start and drive.

Heck, once every couple of weeks would be fine. This would be my option if the car was accessable at all. Of course if it is parked or stored where an occassional drive is impossible, then you must winterize. I'll let the others help you with that.

I would say be sure and drive it every couple of weeks, my first year of college my car sat for about 4 months straight and never had and serious side effects(that I know of yet).

I never knew about fogging oil that is pretty cool. the weekly start and drive should do just fine though.
