Hiya Guys,

I am interested in changing my 1989 Max SE from cloth interior to leather. Does anyone know where I can get some leather interior pieces? Or if I should be a kit? And where can I get a kit if they do sell them? Also is the real leather better or the imitation kind?

I also want to know why my breaks squeak as I am coming to a stop. They also sound like they are grinding sometimes and they are brand new. I put all new pads and rotors in all Raybestos brand. Can anyone help please?

 

What about getting the leather seats out of a wrecked Maxima? You might be able to find some in decent nick at a better price than starting from scratch.

Not a bad idea. Do you have any idea of where I can start looking for the items? The junkyards around my area Brooklyn, NY aren't a goldmine for Max parts....

that's a database of many of the larger junkyards all over the country (world actually).. but I'm sure you can find something affordable in your area through them.


another option is to check out www.leatherseats.com

they sell replacement seat covers (take off your cloth and put these on type).. I think price is about $600 though.. tad high for most people.

 

Also check ebay , There was someplace selling the kit of around 220 dollars
