has anyone installed these on their car yet?

I was just curious, as I can't recall seeing any installed.

its not like you will be hurting the oven at all. Nothing melts or falls into the oven and as long as you dont take too long you will not hurt the lights.

Go to umnitza's site and watch their video on how to install the halos on 5th gen Maximas. They show that you put them in the oven (even gives the temp and time to leave them in).

There really is no other option because a heat gun will not be able to heat the entire light evenly enough to open it.

Also you know the Maxima lens will not be a perfect match to the E36 lights so you will have to come up with a way to seal it on the sides...it shouldnt be too hard though.

Yeah, was thinking the same thing, until I saw the shipping price: $60 to Canada! I hate the whole lower price/jacked-up shipping mentality on ebay. Real shipping costs are like $10. When will these people learn! But it sure would look sweet...

I dont remember any major smells but I have a fan above my stove that pulls out any smells or smoke and blows it outside.

I can't recall it either, Chris. Would be kinda nice to see 'em installed. But that price is STILL kinda "upper echelon" for me. Especially considering I can get some E36's for less.

If not then I'll go apply at UPS

If you have military experience, the Post Office gives you extra points on their exam.
