quick ? about trans seal

quick ? about trans seal

im replacing driver side axle and so i figured i get the trans seal too.
how much gear oil is going to come out?
i want to try to avoid draining because in april i put the amsoil gl4 in
. i have 1 qt left over. im hoping thats enough??

lol dude just drain the oil and reuse it if you want. you pull the axle without draining the oil and it will be spewing out all over the place. and yes it will be more than a quart.

Indeed, its gonna leak ALL over the place and get all over your tranny as its not just gonna pour out neatly lol. Get a drain pan and you should be fine. Oh by the way good luck changing that POS seal...
