fuel tank straps

been calling around with no luck....please tell me that there are not dealer only items...

anyone have a pair laying around - or at least the passenger side?

pass side rusted out....i don't think the "alternatives' you mentioned are all too safe - except for the gum maybe...


i've actually tried some yards but they've all said that it's a not an inventoried item....i wouldn't mind buying one as a band aid until the new ones arrive - but i'm just don't have the schedule to pull them off myself right now..

don't forget about the protective layer of rubber too....courtesy nissan is around 35 each and says can't be expedited (about a week to get in to their store) but local dealer is about 10 more each and could next day. so after tax and next day charge about 120 for the pair. I didn't care so much for the price as I did for availability. i visit lots of construction sites and i just filled up my tank 2 nights ago so it was either find them now or cancel the rest of my day. apparently the closest dealer to NJ that had them was Rhode Island. should have them by 9 this morning

so i friggin overnight the parts...get back to the shop asap and the tech who originally looked at it wasn't there so it gets assigned to a new tech. he pokes around and says because of the age of the vehicle he's not gonna touch it and i should go to a dealer....thanks a whole friggin lot for nothing ****!!!

i tried a firestone and get the "we have sell you the parts' routine.
