SE Rear Brake proportioning
SE Rear Brake proportioning
Does anyone know if the rear load sensing valves (used to aid brake proportioning on the rear under heavy rear axle load) need to be adjusted if the car is lowered?
My car has a fairly aggressive drop on Sprint springs (2" front and rear), and I'm curious if that affects the brake bias? If so, does anyone have any tips, or has anyone actually done any adjustment?

I'm absolutely positive that lowering does affect it.
Just no clue how it affects it exactly, but probably the same way having a load in your trunk does.
I believe (totaly theory) that the lower it is (whether by spring or load) it INCREASES the pressure to the rear brakes

its in the fsm brake section pg. br-14 in my 92 fsm
there is an adjustment bolt where the rear parrellel link connects to the
sensor spring
i think if the cars lower than the springs being pulled so loosen the bolt
a little and release the spring pressure and re tighten
there isnt really much adjustment room but i ll prob. do this if i ever
lower my 92
