Bose/Car electrical problem?

i have search and been through a few pages, dont know if i was wording my search correct
Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms.
anyways my problem is a bit simple..

If i store a channel in the bose..for example a radio channel then i turn off the car wait 30secs then turn it on back the bose is reset. It doesnt reset when the car is on though. The same goes with the clock(Time). but i dont really mind the clock since it works on and off.

Its like when i turn off the car everything completely turns off that way the bose dont have any current in it and wouldnt be able to save the information in its memory(Hope my theory is right)

How do i fix this?

reason why i'm asking is i'm replacing my bose and wanted to know if this will effect anything later(amplifier)....and i want to fix it

Thanks in advance everyone!

check the fuses first.
the power feed from the battery isn't getting far enough.

I guess you first test the fuses and then go buy some JK. Yes you can check the fuses by taking them out and see if they are burnt. Other way to test is with a Digital Multimeter, set it on continuity and you should get a "beep" sound if it works ok. If it's cracked or burnt then no beeping sound.

easy way:
get a test light and touch each of the metal contacts on the fuse while it's plugged in.
both sides should light up.
if only 1 side lights up then you have a bad fuse.
