thinking about installing the basslink in the max in the future, its the 200w one. I'm not very knowledgable about cars at all and need a very detailed how-to-installation just incase if i do want to install it. What other equipment do i need and the basslink does come with prewiring correct? how do i run the power wire to the positive terminal on the battery, do i need a special device or something? what about hiding all the wires to get behind the HU, does the dash have to be removed as well? I've installed an aftermarket HU along with aftermarket speakers and it was ok. Just don't want to mess up anything electrical in the vechicle, thank you.

 

you should check in the audio forums. I know there are some 5th gen guys that have the basslink.

Are you still using the factory Bose stereo, or do you have aftermarket stuff?

You might have to get a wiring diagram to see which wires to use.
