Suspension Possibilities

Here is my current setup as far as suspension goes:

CustomMaxima.com front strut tower bar
BlehmCo Rear strut tower bar
B&G Progressive Rate Springs
Koni Ajustable Shocks
Suspension Techniques Front & Rear Sway Bars
Blehmco Swaybar Links & Brackets
BlehmCo Stage 1 Lower Tie Bar
New Control Arms with bushings and new ball joints

Besides New paralell links, what more can I do to the suspension besides doing custom frame support work, like x frame braces or other things?

oh from his site it looked like he only had them for 4th and 5th gens....I guess that's because thats all he pictured. Alright....well I could upgrade to the stage 2, but I just got the stage 1, so I'm good with that for now.

go with the Stage II LTB, it's serious business

I was really happy with the Eibachs, but never have been in a car with them.

With all the suspension mods you've done already, might I recommend a 5-speed swap so you can REALLY enjoy the rest of what you've done?

YES, that will be future plans. I've almost done everything I want to the car already, besides the 5 spd and turbo. I'm thinking I'll have to wait till spring to do bodywork though....because winter months are comming up. The pieces for the front and rear BBK are almost done, I just finished sandblasting the Z32 calipers and one has a coat of paint, only 4 more coats to go, lol. I got the drilled and slotted rear Z31 rotors in the other day, but those need painting for rust protection. Still waiting on the cobra rotors, since the ones they had in stock were both left, and the guy said they were from a previous supplier so they weren't anodized like I wanted he special ordered some for me. Same price though!!! $85 shipped. Once the body work (rust) is fixed in the spring I'll put on the stillen kit, WW spoiler, the 18's I have, and the BBk and the car will be done! Interior is 95% done, so thats exciting. I'm eager to get pics of the car up but I won't till it's done! You'll all have to wait...sorry.....

I've also been WAYYY to busy to finish the headlights (if some of you remember). I have one in the car, but it's still not totally finished and sealed. I'm learning how to machine acryllic right now, so hopefully I'll be able to put that to use with sealing the housing somehow. Let me tell you....having unlimited access to a University foundry full of CNCs and huge media blasters and lathes and welders and millers and grinders....is awesome.

I would recommend the SFCs from Warpspeed Performance. No, I don't sell SFCs as Brian might insinuated. I HAVE some on my car, but I got them from warpspeed.

I would also recommend the stage II LTB, but if you've got the SI, that is better tan nothing. the s2 is a noticeable difference, but the s1 is a large portion of the improvements.

Matt, how do you like the SFC's. Is there a huge difference in handling up from the ltb and sways and strut bars?

uhhh. I'm just getting started with dipping into the suspension pool. I can see from blehmco.com what a lower tie bar/brace will do to stiffness, but what will SFCs do?

Hey now that Maxitech mentions it and I see you have it planned, I do have a 5speed tranny that I wont be needing anymore as I already got my trans done at a shop. I got a lot of the parts needed in case you would need them too. If you're intersted we can negotiate something

i gotta save up for that, when I do get the tranny, I'll probably build it up for safety's sake. The last thing I'd need is to break a gear after having the tranny on for like a year. Plus they're notoriously weak.

As far as sub frame connectors go, they're beneficial because they GREATLY reduce body roll and increase chassis rigidity many times over. They're more for autocross purposes, and you wouldn't see much use out of one during everyday driving. But I guess it would still be cool to have! LOL

You don't have to go crazy when you drop it.. Just an inch, along with the right wheels and tires, and your good to go.

Oh I don't have them yet, I just got the lower tie bar so far. I'm looking into a SFC, but I do know that the one guy who has them is Matt93SE. I think he got them from Warpspeed tho... I want to make my own. We'll see, I have way too many other things to do before then. I just picked up a set of R34 tail lights, so that should be an interesting project. They actually fit up almost perfectly, and should require no more work than the R33 tails.

I got GR2 and they're pretty decent..not too stiff but not too loose either..just perfect IMO. I've read that they wont handle the eibach springs too well and will give out. If you're using eibach then Koni would be best choice but a bit more $$$ Got my GR2 from Brian (InternetAutoMart) decent price as well.

did u get genuine r34 tail lights or cheap immatations? how much did you pay cuz most places for r34 taillights want bout 700 and there not easy to find. plus in my opinion i think the r34 4 door tail lights would look better then using the r34 2 door tail lights. what are you gonna do about reverse lights? 2 door has no reverse lights on the tail lamp assembly and 4 door tail lamps have revers and turns beneath the two braking lights

Is it feasible to use Eibach springs with the OEM struts? Will that still stiffen up the ride, and do I still get the 1.2 inch drop?

how do tokico hps do with eibach pro springs?, a friend of mind told me that he had used tokico hps in his acura, and with lowering springs, it droped his car even more, basically slammed. so i was just wondering how to tokoci hps go with eibach prosprings with a 1.2 drop. would it lower more than 1.2?

Sorry to hear that
It was good getting things from you because you know about these cars. Most other places don't.

You should bring it back cause "I" need to get some stuff

it may come back, but not under my ownership.
I got hit with to many returns at one time and a slow month so I had to take on a job and close the site so I can get Everybody paid back.
it's just going to take time.
People can email me and I can still get most things, but I want to confirm my cost before I quote for right now

I ordered tokico strut/spring combo last week from livermore performance, their advertised price at the time was 372 but... when i placed the order over the phone, they told me they were actually 450. just got my Addco RSB in today. still waiting on the struts springs and camber adjusters. Still shopping for Strut Hats, lower control arm bushings and ball joints. Any reccomendations? My boss told me that it may just be cheaper to replace the whole lower control arm, 100 bucks online. I've still not called the local nissan dealer, i do get 25 percent parts discount.
