Anybody ever have a funny loose rattling
noise coming from the front end of their max's?
Mine sounds like its loose, but i"m not quite sure.
Whenever I hit a bump I feel soemthing rattling
like maybe the suspension is loose...
new bushings? Anybody make hard bushings?

Open your hood. Take off the rubber covers that go over the bolt of the top of the strut. Bounce the car up and down to see which bolt is loose. Thighten the one that's loose. Bounce the car up and down to see if it is tighten properly.

Surprisng fix...

Well my Max was making a annoying rattling over bumps, I coulda sworn it sounded like it was comign from the engine area, but with some rattling around inside the cabni I found out it was the dam cupholder tray inside the little drawrer thing under the radio. It was cracked a bit and loose, rattled when I hit bumps. I put little rubber feet on it, its totally fine now.

I tried checking the bolts on top of the struts... thats not the problem. i think i'll have to go tighten every single suspension bolt I can find and see if that fixes it

some problem

im ahveing the same problem.. when i hit small bumps on the road i hear this loose rattling noise from the driver front side... i assumed it was either an exhaust issue or brake rotor issue... but now hearing about the top of the strut tower bolt issue . im going to check that next to see if that solves the ratlle... hopefully so..

Hmmmm random missing part

Well the black shock tower cover is missing from my passenger side tower, that oculd be the noise I am getting form that side I think...how important is it for the cover to be there? Where can I find a totally random part like that? Or should I just, like, cover up the hole with electrical tape or something...haha...would that quiet it down a bit? I think that, and keeping dust out, are the only reasons for the black cover in the first place...right?

The cover is there just to cover the bolt, but besides that it serves no purpose.
