Euro headlight pics...INSTALLED!

Well, here they are, day time and night time shots of the euro headlights. I have ideas about modifying them but i'll keep you posted on that when the time comes.

Right now i'm using sylvania cool blue rice bulbs. They're similar to the silverstars just not as bright. There's really no blue in them like the name implies.

Ya, thx for the pics. Makes the car look a lot more modern. I like.

Those are the chrome ones, right? Not the blacked-out ones.

How close the garage door were you parked when you took that pic?

How are they driving at night (really now - no lying... )

Yes they are the chrome ones. I was probably a few yards from the garage door in that pic, so fairly close up (if i were further back i'd be in the street in the way of cars lol). Driving at night is pretty good. The stock headlights are very dim (like a coleman lantern) and these are definitely an improvement over that. I will say though that it's not excellent but i believe it's because it's still a 9004. It would be much better if it was converted to 9007 or something. Like i said i have plans in mind to modify these lights to get the best output. But for now...the 2 pie beam pattern beats the coleman lantern beam pattern lol.

Who did you buy these from?

I might get the "AE" one's to match my UK corners seeing as yours don't seem as "bright" as I thought they would look.

Thanks again for posting pics.

Wow not bad at all, beats my photochopped post a few days ago lol
I like the way they look and it doesnt seem to be as scattered as people mentioned previously. I'd definately consider these whether for modding or keeping as they are.

they look better installed than they did in the ebay pics.
though the light pattern reminds me of a mag-lite pattern(AKA pies on a wall)

In the night shots looking at light pattern and illumination, did you have your driving lights on or off? What about with High beams?

The pics are of the low beams with the driving lights on. These are the custom enterprise headlights. I know they're pricier than ebay but i had custom enterprise gift certificates that i never used so i used them towards the lights and also got the maxima.org discount on them. Plus they're more reputable then some of the ebay sellers. I'm assuming the ones sold on ebay are the same product from the same manufacturer but i can't say for sure. Thanks everyone for the compliments.

I think these may work well with HID's. If you put HID's in the stock headlights, there's really no cutoff so the light is very scattered and would blind other drivers so you'd have to aim them real low. But with the euro headlights, the beam is more focused (you can see this by the circular pattern they make) which means HID's may work better without blinding oncoming traffic.

also they make bixenon hid.s with a glare shield that stops the glare from the hid . and it also ahs a regular bulb above it for your high beams.

take another pic with the fogs/driving lights off and i can tell you if it's a good HID candidate.

i'll use that term "glare shield" on the bi-xenon 9004 very loosely.

The only good HID candidate (imo) is a projector designed for HID bulbs (real HID bulbs that is... for a projector D2S). No glare, perfect pattern, perfect cutoff, etc. etc.

They can be expensive (sometimes not) but well worth the money and work for the sake of other drivers. In the end doing it the right way makes it better for you as well giving you the best possible light output.

Any chance we can get a pic with the fogs off, the lights aimed, and a little further back? Also a pic from the drivers perspective would rock. I'd like to see just the headlight beam pattern.

It would be nice to see the black housing Euros for comparison. Please post pics when you get them installed. I wonder if the chromies or the blacks would look better with my Silver Max. I have another grill which I am looking to paint body color and install. Would the black housing look bad?

I'm still waiting for updated, aimed pictures with the driving lights off. Still wanting to hear how night time driving is with these as well. How is visibility over stock when aimed/adjusted and such? Anyone got HID's in a set of these yet?

Yes I know someone that has HID's in the euro lights. They are brighter. but only brighter in the PIE outputs. no spreading of the light. HOT SPOTS. They are better than stock output though even without hids. I got ahold of some bixenon projectors and a pair of black euros. finally finishing up a true projector retro. I will post when complete!
