uh, HELP please..

I noticed yesturday when I drove all over the place that my brakes are sqeeking and are making a "rubbing" sound. But I just had the brakes/tires checked 4-5 days ago.
I also noticed the "rubbing" sound is coming from the rear driver side tire. The sqeeking isn't really that bad. It is hard to notice....
My uncle asked me if I ever used the E-brake. I did 3 days ago. I was on an aweful slope.. But anyways, he said sometimes if "older" cars have never had the E-brake used then they tend to get stuck if used later.[like when I did].. But there isnt a brake light on..

So please help me. This is wierd. lol.

Cable may be stuck. You can release them a little, if you look under and see where the cable runs into, and push the lever back out. Sometimes you can pull in the cable and it'll break free.

Another telltale sign of a seized up e brake cable is the wheel will be warm/hot to the touch after driving...
