yeah im gonna just drive it a little till i get knock blocker and gaskets
it has no stereo yet either

It usually happens when warmed up,and more during warm weather..

no its at 15 b t d c
does anyone know why the fsm shows 3 methods of hooking up a timing light?
2 look like they are for exspensive types of t lights
i just hook it to the loop thing?

I dont recall seeing "how to connect timing light" on FSM but its simple..just connect neg and pos cables to battery then the last cable to sparkplug wire #1

Some people on here get different readings sometimes when they try the different methods. With the VE, you can TRY to hook it through the #1 coil pack wire. The easiest way is use that loop. It works great for me.

If that doesn't seem to work out for ya, then use the other methods. Maybe Nissan knew that some timing lights work and some don't, so they explained 3 methods.

If you have plug wires, which most cars do, then just hook to the #1 wire. That's easy enough. But the VE and other cars with coil packs are a little different.
