Torqe Specs - vg upper intake manifold

Guys , haynes says its 13-16 ft.lbs. the autozone manual says its 5.1-5.8 ft.lbs.

this is a huge diff. Anyone know what the correct torque for the plenum is .

Dont mean to sound rude , but are you sure thats not Nm, and for the lower collecter. If you are right I apologize in advance.

Yeah it is Nm,sorry about that,i just took a quick glance at it.

It's 13-16 ft.lbs..

humm... I think you might have read those values wrong. it should be in the teen ft lbs. Just double check the front page of your book to see how they labeled those units cuz they vary from book to book.

thanks everybody, I got it. Its 13-16 ft.lbs for both the intake collectors.
