Help with Radiator...
Car ran in idle for a long time inside a closed garage (@30 mins) by accident (remote start button). First noticed a few drips of coolant that escaped radiator. Modded guage cluster not properly calibrated at time, so temp reading seemed abnormally high. Few days later ran AC almost all day on trip. Checked coolant level after trip, and was low. Refilled coolant, but went way past *Max* marker. Engine seems to be running at normal temp, recalibreated temp guage (to the best of my ability) and no "high" readings. Noticed a lot of dripage after regular beltway driving after refilling coolant. Noticed a little more dripage after running same distance in the morning. Is this a self draining method to compensate for me pouring in too much, or is it time to get a new radiator?

[B]Did you confirm that the coolant was leaking from the radiator? When the water pump gets worn, the coolant can leak from it.
Thanks for responding...
Yes. It was leaking from the upper gate of the radiator. It was leaking on the edges of the plastic strip where the radiator cap sits. Also, the water pump is fairly new... only a few years old.
