sold the max:(

I had a nice family of 3 come and buy my car today for their 16 year old son. It was fun while it lasted but the time has come to say goodbye to the org, i've met so many wonderful people here and I don't think there are any forums like this for my replacement car which is a good old trusty ford aspire. goodbye friends

I thought you had like 3 Maximas and just the VE was for sale?

I figured you would sell the black VE before anyone bought mine. That was a pretty good price, unless someone knows what my mods are worth.

You should send some of these buyers my way.

heh, i guess nobody's noticed the hidden text, Chris just knows. sorry i stole the sale man but if you're serious, i'll send all those suckers your way, but I had probably 20 e-mails (which i gave lengthy responses to) and out of all these people supposedly interested, the only one who actually came to see the car were the people who bought it I had a couple shady ones too. one guy wanted to do nothing but meet me halfway between federal way and portland:/ a couple sob stories, i'm glad it's done.

To tell the truth, i'm happy to have my ve off my hands. i'm going to miss the extra boost but that's about it. i'm stoked to be back in the 91. first up is an oil change, it hasn't had the oil changed since frickin early summer before i bailed to seattle for the first of 4 trips north doing maxima **** although it's been sitting since early august. ironically the people who bought it are from the same area.

green: you crack me up man. i actually almost grabbed one of my cars to give to the kid while i was inside but while i was reaching, i thought "bah, they got the car for $2200, they don't get one" they did get 8 tires and wheels with centercaps and an fsm though. whatta got to trade for a die cast? i feel kind of bad for hoarding 5 of them..

You had yours for a good price. Mine is kind of a premium price. I get a few emails, but no one serious. I relisted it today because I have been home sick. I was in Portland this weekend because my wife had laser eye surgery.

Honestly, I have been kind of wanting someone who knows these cars to buy mine. It is in such good shape and some of the mods are kind of hard to come by. Most people wouldn't know a Fidanza from a Fig Newton and I bet I have one of only a handful of 3rd gens in the NW with a GReddy exhaust.

I'm not going anywhere for awhile either.

BTW... I got a set of stock cams for a VG I'll trade. Let me look around the house, I might have some other stuff I don't want anymore.

Though I want the white Die Cast.

By the time I'm finished I'll be the only one left. I don't think it'll look like a max anymore anyway.

I'm still with you green. I'm not planning on selling my maxima at all. It's my fun DD and my 240 is going to be my track car...

this thread has went the wrong direction. nobody's going anywhere except for the so called "enthusiasts" who i was poking fun at in my original post i've been around these cars for all but 4 years since 1991 and that was enough. even if i become wealthy, i'd still have one, in fact, i'd have more fun with it then, than now, modification wise.. trip gen for life
