damn gap win regulator *help*

Guys, I just installed a new windows regulator and motor for the rear passenger side but this rotten thing refused to close in the gap all the way in. So it made an ugly triangle gap. On the left hand side, it appears like it maxed out but it didn't. I barely touching the rubber. I know many of you had this problem before, how did you solved it??? please shred some light on me. I'd tried everything, from adjusting the screws to pushing the glass, etc... nothing works.. arghhh

loosen the 4 rail mounting bolts, tighten the 2 holding the window, roll it up while manually adjusting the window, then tighten the four rail bolts when you get the window completely up.

yeah, I did that today but this is the closest I could get it. The two of 4 mounting bolts down on the bottom are non-adjustable. only the two up above are adjustable. I'd tried shifting those things but no lucks. hmm.. weird, could it be the motor or poorly manufactured regulator? But they're brand new and I'd compared them to the older ones. They looked exactly the same.

Start over. Push the window up to the fully closed position by hand and then attach the regulator bolts. Connect the regulator to the power and operate it first to get it in the position you want.

I've had to replace all 4 of my window regulators. You will too and like me you will become an expert at A removing the door panels in 2.2 minutes flat and b knowing all the inner working of the window regulator system.

My car has 247k (second motor) but still on road how about u?
