this started about 3 days ago. I was at a stop light and when I took off hard, my car started sorta fishtailing from the back and the front. I was like WTF??? it looked like the car is not aerodynamically stable anymore.
and it does it everytime I push the gas hard, I don't know what is the deal. Is it my tires, or suspension?
thank you for the help in advance.

this kind of happened to my car. i'd take off hard or hit a bump and the car would swerve hard all on its own. turns out it was a CV axle, if i let it go longer it would have been control arms and ball joints.Originally posted by wizard6161

i also noticed on my car that when i make a sharp turn that there is alot more body roll and its makes my tires squick/screech, i remember it only did that when i had alot of people in my car but now i notice it does that when i am just in my car by myself. well, when you think about, our cars are around 10 years old.
I'd put my money on both of you needing new struts, possibly CV joints.. people severely underestimate what worn struts will do to a car's handling- at low speed and high.
