Installing 4th gen Sunvisors?
Installing 4th gen Sunvisors?
Anyone have any idea how to fit 4th gen sunvisors? I bought a set from someone on the org, but there's a problem with mounting it. To keep me from sounding like an idiot trying to explain, here are some pictures.

In other words, how I can take the third gen's mounting thing, and have it on the 4th gen?

Ok ok ok. Here are both visors.

Top is 4th gen. Bottom is third.
Here is a close up of the 3rd gen visor mount.

And the 4th gen's.

How can I take off the 3rd gen's mount, and stick it on the 4th gen sunvisor, so I can screw it into my car?

I am not sure what mount you are talking about. It was pretty simple really, the hardest part was wiring it up. All I did was unscrew the 3rd gen visor, which left an open hole in the headliner. I then put the 4th gen visor in the spot and drilled the new holes for the 4th gen visor mounting. Then I clipped the harnesses off the 4th gen visor, pulled down the dome light and slung them through, hot to hot and ground to ground, popped the dome light back up in place, screwed the 4th gen visor down tight and done.
Of course it is more time consuming, but this gives you an idea of all that was done. You will have see the 3rd gen mounting holes very slightly, when the 4th gen visor is in place, that is because the mounting area is wider.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
