Mysterious hose!

Mysterious hose!

What is this and where does it go! I was just checking my fluids and saw it just kinda hanging around...

you might want to change that oil filter. looks like it's about 3 years old..

I am due for an oil change, but it has only been about 3000 miles (same goes for the filter). My engine bay is a mess from a previous oil leak, and there are no splash guards on the bottom so the engine bay gets pretty dirty pretty quick.
