You can go there to download the Word Document file. Just scroll down a little bit and you'll see it. It's the same full color instructions that I include with every kit!

Thank you xx-Marshall-xx for posting those pics! It's so beautiful!!
I just wanted to mention something to everybody. On some of his closeup pictures, you may think that the spacer doesn't follow the outside contour of the upper intake manifold as well as it should. This is because he installed it backwards. But, the ports will still line up perfectly if you flip it over. So he will be fine with it like that. It's just that my spacer kit looks even more pretty when it's installed in the correct direction. It's designed to follow the outside contour of the upper intake manifold, so when it's installed, it looks like it came from the factory like that!
You did good Chris for the first time going into your engine like that! A knock sensor job isn't for everybody! And the very first time you cranked it up, you experienced no intake, fuel or coolant leaks! Good job!
BTW, if anybody needs custom port services, I also offer that. And I will even match your set of spacers to your IM for free with a purchase of a kit.

And to everyone... the reason i pout it on backwards is because i was using the LOWER intake manifold to set it not the upper
i can fix it... idk if i want to
maybe then i can get my upper IM powder coated

I still haven't found a 4th gen test vehicle. I haven't had to a chance to conduct my testing in order to find out if a gain can be had with the 4th gen. But I know I can make a throttle body spacer without any problems.
I can make it whatever thickness you need. Send me a PM and we'll discuss it. If there is some interest, then I will definitely make this.

Please feel free to read the installation instructions for the VE30DE found at my website:
http://www.nissanworks.com/Phenolic_Spacers.html
I still have VE30DE Phenolic Intake Spacer kits left in stock.

Its part of the gains. The whole purpose of this kit is to reduce temps in the metal parts of the intake system. Hot coolant flows in the TB and manifold heating them up. And the heat transfer from heads to intake also contributes.
Isolate both and theres where you have your gains/resistance to heat soak. There is no negatives to not running coolant through those places though.

Thanks
Also, the throttle body coolant bypass keeps the TB from heating up. It compliments the spacers nicely. If you leave the coolant flowing through the TB, then the TB and top part of the UIM will heat up hotter than without.
I have never heard of any negative effects of bypassing the coolant even in cold climates. But I'd say, if you are trying to drive your car in subzero temperatures, then leave the coolant flowing through your TB. But, not that many people will try to drive their FWD Maxima when the temps are below 0*F. Many people have driven their cars in single digit temps in the northern states in the US and none have reported any problems.
If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks.

Installed mine the other day. Easy install. I don't have any opinion yet though as I haven't driven the car.
Its still in pseudo storage from winter. I'll pull it out at the end of the month....

if there wasn't a reason for the coolant to pass through the TB and bypassing would gain HPs why wouldn't nissan implement it?
so IMO there is a negative affect not running coolant though the TB but only in very cold conditions.
Definately a mod i will be buying in the near future!love the presentation, and the positive responses from your customers. as soon as life settles down a bit, i'll drop you some funds.

You gotta keep in mind, most people that have a VE are still in school and poor. And the rest aren't really interested in making it faster for some reason.

Join the club! No matter how poor someone is, if they are willing to work on a project car themself, you can make it faster for cheap.

But, every two years isn't bad at all. In most areas effected by emissions, it's every single year.
I apologize for the delayed response, but I am out of town right now. I sent you a PM reply.

Im sure it would not be really difficult to customize your own down pipe if you need it to pass emissions.
