WTB: 2 things WTDiscuss: 3 things
Okay to start off, 91 maxima auto to manual swap, clean as a whistle, runs great, there are a few things that need lovin.
Discussion:
First, I have some electrical issues such as not being able to roll UP my passenger windows, but I can roll them down just fine (from the master switch, each individual window switch works fine). I'm pretty sure this is a failure in the master switch mechanism, but wanted to see if anybody else had experienced this and what actions did you take?? Second, my clock on the dash goes in and out, one day its on the next its not, but it keeps perfect time. The last thing is my seatbelt light. it goes on and off, goes on and off, and if I jiggle the seatbelt connection at the pillar, it turns off and comes on rapidly. Anybody have any quick fixes for that one? There is something to be said about a 16 year old car, but the drivetrain is in near perfect condition, so I just want to fix the little quirks. lemme know.
WTB:
sadly enough when I bought the car, the climate control was shot, so I've been cruising around, crossing wires and pulling cables to get the temp just right in my car, so I need to just forget about it and buy one, anybody?? climate control please?? I'm pretty down on my luck with money right now so if you don't mind, nothing to expensive please. Also, if above mentioned master switch for the p/windows is shot I would like to buy one of those aswell. please let me know, again nothing to expensive as I am running low on funds. another possibility is sound system, because this car is being given to someone when he turns 16, I want it to be functioning fully when his parents buy it from me, does anybody have any recommendations?? Probably an aftermarket deck and some crummy speakers would do the trick, I'm not into buying real expensive crap as this is just a get around car. thanks a bunch.
NOTE: I work 46 hours a week, so I'm not on here much. if you don't get any responses from me within a couple hours or at least a day, e-mail me. zrmoore@hotmail.com
thanks
