suspension prob

suspension prob

so the other day i moved my car from one part of the yard to the other. onyl thing was when i got out the right side was almost to the ground. to be honest i like the way it looks but thats not how its supposed to sit. i think its something with the lower control arm. any ideas

Look at your own suspention. It can be alot of things, you have to actually check them.

Jack the car up, SECURE IT with jack stands and have a look...could be a busted coil spring

Hard to say w/o being able to see it, but when you have a look, it should be fairly obvious.

It the car is rusty, there is the off chance that the strut tower rusted thru...Pop the hood and have a look.

And if nothing's terribly obvious (it should be, as low as it fell... but who knows) you can always resort to comparing the broken side to the other side. I'll call that $0.01, not even 2 cents worth.

jack it up and take a look. Two possibilities, (1) spring (2) the 2 bolt joints from the strut to knuckle might have busted.

This happened to me too. After I replaced the wheel bearing I noticed it seems to be leaning slighty towards the front passenger side. Not sure whats going on with it.
